Accepting As Resistance
From today's reading for The Collective.
Accepting something doesn't mean that we do nothing to change this situation. Acceptance means that we find a way to make peace with what is so we can work to change its trajectory.
The world is on fire. And there are many of us who still have our heads in the sand like ostriches refusing to accept that is happening or refusing to accept that what is happening can or will impact us.
I'm here to tell you, it's happening. And it will impact you. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But it will, one way or another.
The sooner you can make peace with what is happening the sooner you can find ways to participate in resisting it There are lots of small things you can do to resist. One of them is to get out and get to know your neighbors. Another way is to volunteer in your community. Creating connection makes it harder for the powers that be to divide us.
As you move through your weekend what is something you can to to help accept what is happening and in that acceptance find ways to resist it from getting worse.

Agree. Small things can make a big difference in one's own life or the life of another. Be Kind, Be Generous not always with money, but with your time, Be compassionate.
